Delicious Pregnancy Smoothies You’ll Love 

 

 

Feeling Blah? Want something tasty but not sure exactly what? The First Trimester can leave you with a meh taste in your mouth BUT we think these healthy pregnancy smoothies are the answer.

Why Smoothies?

  • They’re super fast to prepare.

  • You can pack and freeze individual portions for an even quicker breakfast

  • You can drink them on the run

  • They’re good for you.

  • They’re healthy

  • And did we mention DELICIOUS!!

Before you get all Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen, You’ll need a whizz-bang blender or similar. I use a ninja blender that I’ve had for years and it’s great. Also please wash produce carefully before use.

Healthy Pregnancy Smoothies

1.Zesty Citrus Pregnancy Smoothie

Ingredients- 1  orange peeled and chopped 1/2  lemon peeled and chopped I peach Half a handful of  spinach leaves 5 fresh mint leaves 1 1/2 cup almond milk (or your favourite milk ) Method -Pop the all the ingredients in your blender or smoothie maker and whizz until smooth. Add more liquid if too thick.

2. Berry Delicious 

Ingredients 1 1/2 cups of apple juice (You can also use almond milk, skim milk or coconut milk for a more milkshakey smoothie) 1 banana sliced ( Fresh or Frozen) 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries. 3/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt. Method Pop the all the ingredients in your blender or smoothie maker and whizz until smooth. Add more liquid if too thick. Tip: Top with Fresh Berries and a Sprig of Mint for an Instagram worthy smoothie pic!

3. Green Goddess 

Ingredients 1 cup packed kale leaves, Cut away stems. 1 cup packed spinach leaves. Juice of 1/2 lemon. 1 green apple, cored and diced Greek Yogurt A handful of Ice Method Pop the all the ingredients in your blender or smoothie maker and whizz until smooth. Add more liquid if too thick.

4.Healthy Chocolate
