Before you get all Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen, You’ll need a whizz-bang blender or similar.
I use a ninja that I’ve had for years and its great. Also please wash produce carefully before use.
Here’s Our Top 5 Pregnancy Smoothie Recipes
1. Berry Delicious
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of apple juice (You can also use almond milk, skim milk or coconut milk for a more millkshakey smoothie)
1 banana sliced ( Fresh or Frozen)
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries.
3/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt.
Method
Pop the all the ingredients in your blender or smoothie maker and whizz until smooth. Add more liquid if too thick.
Tip: Top with Fresh Berries and a Sprig of Mint for an Instagram worthy smoothie pic!
2.Zesty Citrus
Ingredients
1 orange peeled and chopped
1/2 lemon peeled and chopped
I peach
Half a handful of spinach leaves
5 fresh mint leaves
1 1/2 cup almond milk (or your favorite milk )
Method
Pop the all the ingredients in your blender or smoothie maker and whizz until smooth. Add more liquid if too thick.

Zesty Citrus Pregnancy Smoothie
3.Green Goddess
Ingredients
1 cup packed kale leaves, Cut away stems.
1 cup packed spinach leaves.
Juice of 1/2 lemon.
1 green apple, cored and diced
Greek Yogurt
A handful of Ice
Method
Pop the all the ingredients in your blender or smoothie maker and whizz until smooth. Add more liquid if too thick.
4. Healthy Chocolate Smoothie (Yes there is such a thing!)
Ingredients
1 large frozen banana
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
2 medjool dates, remove pip
1 large tbs of cacao powder
A pinch of cinnamon
Method
Pop the all the ingredients in your blender or smoothie maker and whizz until smooth. Add more liquid if too thick.
5.Mango & Chia Smoothie
Ingredients
250 ml of Orange juice
1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain
2 tablespoon of chia seeds
1/2 cup of mango cubes, frozen
1 cup of spinach
Method
Pop the all the ingredients in your blender or smoothie maker and whizz until smooth. Add more liquid if too thick.
